About the Author


Arthur C. Morgan was a “Spycraft Merchant,” he owned and operated Surveillance Equipment Group Inc. (S.E.G. Inc.) for over twenty-eight years functioning as an international security contractor and private investigator with expertise in technical surveillance and countermeasures (T.S.C.M.). His story is unique, born in Juneau, Alaska and lived in south-east Asia in the Pre-Vietnam war era and was a world traveler before the age of twelve due to his father’s illustrious career as a hydroelectric engineer and foreign service operative. He endured a troubled childhood and in his adolescence he became involved in drugs which led him into a life of vice with organized crime as a young adult. After a period of incarceration, he returned to society to become one of the most accomplished, but unrecognized international security professionals of his time. He traveled extensively throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, Central and South America and studied foreign culture and religion most of his adult life. He shares his knowledge of history, world travel, politics and security technology, while documenting his many life challenging adventures. After his forced retirement as an security contractor he returned to academia and completed his bachelor's and master of science degree in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, where he specialized in the research of confirmation bias and antisocial personality disorders. He currently works as an addiction counselor with people who are in recovery at a intensive treatment facility in Washington D.C.  One of his personal passions is an advocacy for criminal justice reform.
